Craftfest Cathays
For the first time, we’re hosting a very exciting event this summer: the Craftfest Cathays! On the 2nd of August, we will be bringing together a range of local businesses to host different crafts and activities throughout the day. In the morning, we will have family-friendly workshops, and towards the afternoon, we will be changing the setting into a more adult-friendly event, as we will end up heading to the Flora pub!
We will have a fab selection of workshops taught by our lush tutors and some friends of Lark too! Have a look below to see which businesses are taking part!

FAQ’s
Q - Where and when do I start?
You can start at any venue and at any time between 10 am to 5 pm. Please note that the morning activities will be more family-focused, while the afternoon ones will be more difficult and thus aimed at adults.
Q - Do we have a lunch hour?
Yes! From 12 to 1 pm, we’ll have an individual lunch hour. Feel free to pop into any local restaurants for some food! We don’t want to see anyone eating Greggs
Q - Can I send my child alone?
Kids have to be accompanied by parents or an adult
Q - Can I make more than one item at a session?
Ideally not, as we’ve got a limited amount of materials, and we’re hoping you can visit as many places as possible
Q - How will I know where to go, and will I be recognised?
We will be posting you a badge and a map with all our different venues. Plus, we’ll have some outdoor stewards who will direct you if you get lost :)
