As part of Adult Learners Week (check out their website for other free courses - https://adultlearnersweek.wales/en/) I have been asked to do a one hour Macrame masterclass so I will be demonstrating a wall hanging with a couple of new knots that I've learned during lockdown.
Macrame is a very satisfying craft that has made a huge come back in recent years, it's popularity is due to its versatility, you also get to see a design grow very quickly with the use of a few simple knots. You will just need some string or rope and a nice branch or piece of driftwood. You can join live or you can watch and try it later. Event listing here - Facebook Events
Materials needed -
a tree branch (25cm- 50cm long),
8 x 2.5 metre lengths of twine, string or rope
Scissors
Somewhere to hang your branch as you will work vertically
To join simply follow the page and at 10.30 you will receive a notification that the video has started and you can join.
