Ever wanted to learn how to sew your own clothes? Join us at Lark for a fun, hands-on Beginner Dressmaking Workshop — no experience needed!

✂️ What You'll Learn:

• How to read and understand a sewing pattern

• Pattern lay planning for efficient fabric use

• How to sew seams, casings, and hems

• How to construct your own pair of pajama bottoms

By the end of the day, you’ll walk away with a handmade pair of cosy PJ bottoms and the skills to start your sewing journey!

🧵 What You’ll Need to Bring:

• A commercial sewing pattern (details provided upon booking)

• 2.5 metres of cotton fabric (light to medium weight is best)

• Your own sewing machine (optional – we have machines at Lark you can use)

• Packed lunch – we’ll take a break to eat together
  (Don’t worry — we’ll keep the tea, coffee, and biscuits flowing all day!) ☕🍪

• Note book and pen- you may want to take notes throughout the day.

• Basic sewing kit- scissors, pins etc.
