This September we will be bringing our popular annual studio workshop to zoom, over 4 zoom workshops you will be learning to create a Nordic style blanket ready for Christmas!

The sessions will focus on the Corner 2 Corner (C2C) stitch which enables you to build up patterns and ultimately create squares that can be joined together to create the 9 square blanket, the individual squares also make gorgeous cushion covers so you don't have to feel that you have to make all 9 if you don't have time or luckily Christmas comes around every year ;-)

It is suitable for those who have recently learned crochet to novice crocheters, you would need be able to do at least one stitch confidently, so if you are a total beginner we would recommend you book our beginners crochet workshops before session.

The great thing about the 9 individual squares is that it is easy to crochet on the go as each square is not too big, there are loads of patterns available so your blanket will be totally unique, you can start with easy patterns and build up to harder patterns.

Please note the cost does not include the wool/yarn, you will be shown examples of suitable wool from Shaws/HobbyCraft/Online etc, you will have 2 weeks after the first session to purchase your chosen wool and start square 1, you will be practicing on any wool and hook you have at home during zoom 1. (The yarn will cost from £20 upwards for the whole blanket)

You will be sent a kit which includes a printed pattern and instruction booklet, a travel crochet case, 10 x yarn bobbins, access to reminder youtube tutorials and access to a facebook support & motivation group.

The zoom course is £45 for all 4 taught sessions :

15th Sept 7-9pm - shopping tips and learning the C2C stitch - focus on increasing (using any yarn and hook you have at home) You then have 2 weeks to purchase your yarn and start your first 2 plain squares.

29th September 7-9pm - decreasing and simple colour changing to create stripey squares (you then have 2 weeks to finish your plain squares and start your stripey squares)

13th October 7-9pm - colour changing & reading patterns (you can then start your 5 patterned squares)

8th December 7-9pm - blocking, assembling and bordering your blanket
