Develop your Crochet

INTRO PRICE £25! 

We've been running 'learn to crochet' workshops, we cover A LOT in that session and sometimes all that info can be overwhelming or you come up with more questions when you get home, so we have created this 'develop your crochet' aimed at those who have learnt recently or a bit stuck in a rut doing straight lines - it is not suitable for total beginners - we would expect that you have made a few headbands on something similar before joining. 

During the session we will be making a round coaster, we will learn the 2 ways of starting in the round (chain method & magic ring), we will have a go at all 3 of the main stitches - Double Crochet (DC), Half Treble Crochet (HTC) and Treble Crochet (TC). You will be working from a written and pictogram pattern to see which you prefer. You will also learn about slip stitches, changing your yarn mid & end of row, using chains as decoration and how to finish a piece with best weaving in methods. 

There will also be time for any Questions you have about the next projects you want to do. 

We can help with right & left handed crocheters. Suitable for age 11+. Coaster materials provided, If you have hooks it would be great if you bring them along (any size from 6-8) or we have some you can borrow.
