Learn how to make a Christmas placemat with Kath, Kath is a regular customer of Lark who makes the most amazing quilts and has developed this lovely workshop

The workshop will introduce you to foundation piecing and quilting, with a few laughs along the way!

All materials are included in the price. Part 2 is one week after part 1, your booking covers both sessions. 

You will need to bring your sewing machine, as well as a 1/4 inch foot and open toe foot if you have them (Kath can show you ways to use the presser feet you have if you don't have these so don't worry!) Using your own machine is always best as you should be more familiar with it and you will get to know the settings you'll need to do more quilting at home, but if you need to borrow a machine from Lark please email Gemma of Lark studio at larkdesignmake@gmail.com to let her know to prepare one for you. 

Week One - 13th October 6.30-8.30pm
You will build the top panel design and add the border.

Week Two - 20th October 6.30-8.30pm
You will quilt your placemat and learn to make and attach the binding.

This workshop is suitable for those who can fairly confidently thread and use a machine already, if you are new to sewing please check out our beginners workshops.
