Every year I wander around the Cardiff Half Marathon route with Gwen, I cheer on the runners, see faces I recognise and think I should have organised something to celebrate the runners and be enjoying this with others, so this years i’ve decided to get a Lark cheering gang together - maybe by next year we’ll have created a huge jelly baby station!!

Mile 12 of the race is just 2 blocks from the studio (next to G&J Motors HERE) the runners have just run up a hill and are losing steam so I thought it would be a great place to meet and cheer them on to the finish line. It is also handy that we can use the studio loo, fill our thermos’s with hot tea and even better dash into Blwm cafe for a coffee!

So bring your kids, dogs, a camping stool, banners, jelly babies, whatever you like… let’s get cheering!

The wheelchair race starts at 9.50am and Elite runners at 10am so the speediest racers will be passing around 11am and it will be really busy for the next couple of hours after that. Come for as little or as long as you like.

Please note that the roads around the studio will be closed so if you plan to drive take a look at the info online as you’ll need to walk the last bit to get to the meeting point. Info from the organisers can be found HERE
