This workshop is suitable for those with a little experience of using a sewing machine.

Join us for 3 action packed sewing weeks! Dates are 9th, 16th & 23rd June, all are at 6.30-9pm. Cost is for all 3 sessions.

You will focus on lots of technical skills, You will spend time pattern cutting and learn about the correct use of fabric and tools. You will learn lots of terminology used in patterns and tips for confidently following a pattern.

You will make a simple skirt which you need to provide your own fabric for and a beach bag which we will provide the fabric for but you are welcome to bring a metre of something if you like.

NOTE : You do not need the fabric for the SKIRT in session 1 so we can discuss options then.

Easy Elasticated Waist Skirt :

You will need 1.5m of fabric. Recommended material - Printed cottons, linen, lightweight denim.
