This club is suitable for 9-14 year olds, each week they will develop their skills and confidence in using a sewing machine with a 90 minute session (the cost is for all 4 sessions)

The workshops are suitable for total beginners or those with some experience as there will be 2 tutors so we will adapt the tasks to suit. We will start with a cooking or craft apron which we take 2 sessions as it will include pattern cutting and a pocket. In week 3 they will learn to sew curves and make a small reversible storage basket and then in the final week they will learn how to insert zips and make a pencil case. All the activities are suitable for boys and girls and we have lots of fabrics to choose from.

All materials are included, they will have a sewing machine each to use and there will be a short squash and biscuit break.
