Join Bec & Em at Lark, for a creative, beginner friendly full-day workshop of silversmithing & enameling.

Spend the morning with Bec from Rebecca Davies Jewellery, who will introduce you to traditional silversmithing techniques. You'll learn to saw, shape, texture and polish a pair of earrings or a pendant in your choice of silver or copper. 

We'll then take a break for lunch.

The afternoon will be over to Em from Emelye James Creative Studio who will teach you the basics of enameling - the ancient art of fusing glass to metal to create a colourful, glossy finish!

As always, beginners are welcome and all materials and refreshments included.
You are welcome to bring your own lunch, or enjoy a local cafe - there's plenty to choose from. 

What to expect...

Silversmithing - Bec will guide you step-by-step and show you everything from preparing your template, sawing and texturing, to filing, sanding and polishing your pieces. You will have a choice of making silver or copper charms - please select your prefered material when buying your tickets. All earring findings are sterling silver and available as hooks or hoops - you can decide this on the day.

Enameling -  In this workshop you will learn the basics of enameling and create enamelled jewellery using the charms you cut during the morning. You will have the option to keep it to a plain colour enamel or use stencils to apply patterns. Em can also show you how to add millefiori glass beads for an extra special touch.
