Stitched Bowls with Kim from Darn It! Workshops

Create your own tactile hand stitched bowl using cotton cord and thread.

In this session we’ll be making coasters, bowls, placemats and decorations using a coiled technique on a sewing machine. We’ll start with the same cotton cord and customise it with colourful thread, fabric and shapes that are unique to use. This technique can be fiddly at the start but quickly becomes great fun and a quick way to produce a finished piece.

Basic sewing machine knowledge needed.
