Join us for a relaxed afternoon learning all things mending. Learn about the history of different mending techniques around the world and use vintage darning tools. Technique wise we'll cover darning techniques including traditional, surface and scotch darning on a darning loom and a variety of vintage mushrooms. We'll also cover Japanese mending techniques Sashiko and Boro and more freeform embroidery and patching techniques. Bring things to mend or leave with a range of samples. Sewing Skill Level: Beginner friendly

You’ll need: Items of clothing you'd like to mend

Materials included: Fabric, darning thread, sashiko thread
