We have a fully equiped sewing area at the studio, we offer a range of workshops from childrens all day clubs, after school clubs, parent & child workshops and then for adults we offer workshops for total beginners leading up to dressmaking skills & quilting…
You are able to use our sewing machines and equipment but we always recommend that you bring your own as the best way to learn is to understand how to use your own equipment!
Lark owner, Gemma, occasionally teaches sewing, she focuses on the basics of getting to know your sewing machine. She’s sewn since she was a child and enjoys using it to make products like bags, hats, and storage.
Mell is an amazing teacher with 18 years of experience in sewing and crafting. At Lark, she gives workshops on garments, bags and toys. She also runs workshops in other venues through Sew & Craft Workshops
PLEASE NOTE MELL IS TAKING SOME TIME OFF TO SPEND SOME TIME WITH HER FAMILY BUT WE WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN SHE RETURNS TO TEACHING AT LARK (Nov ‘25)
