Adult Beginners Sewing

Everyone can sew! Get to know how to use a sewing machine and catch the sewing bug in this fun and comprehensive 4.5 hour class!

Part 1:  You will learn how to wind a bobbin, thread a sewing machine, change needles, sew in a straight line and change directions. You will then move onto cutting out a simple pattern to create a lovely infinity scarf or an envelope cushion cover. Please tell us your choice before the class!

Break for snacks and refreshments! The Cafe at MADE has great options but you are also near to the cafe hubs of Albany & Wellfield Road.

Part 2: We will take your skills further, making a fully lined tote bag!

This workshop costs ¬£55 and include all the resources you need as well as a wide selection of lovely fabrics for your projects! The sewing machines are provided, but if you have your own at home then please feel free to bring it along! (If you are bringing your own, please arrive approximately 15 minutes early so we can get you set up!)
