Finch loves getting involved in charity community events and can host them at Lark studio! We feel strongly that craft sessions can bring togetherness to an event and are a great way to promote wellbeing.
We offer free & subsidised regular workshops for the local community who are experiencing financial hardship, isolation or mental health issues.
The profit we make from corporate events we host will be used to subsidise these workshops.
If your charity is looking for opportunities for their beneficiaries to improve their wellbeing and gain life skills. We want to work with you!
To give you an indication of cost, a 2-hour community event with a fun sampler craft would cost a minimum of £150 (this would typically cover a group size up to 10 people & within 10 miles of Lark Studio)
This cost would cover our preparation, set up, admin, teaching, materials* and pack away.
How to book a Finch event…
Step 1 : Complete the enquiry form below we will reply with our availability within 2 days
Step 2 : If we are available to host your party we will start planning all the details & send you an invoice which is due 7 days before the event
Step 3 : The invoice is due 7 days before the event, we are happy to edit the invoice to this point if attendee numbers change.

All in all, we are open to all sorts of ideas. Our experience means that we understand what is needed to create a successful event and consider ourselves easy to work with as we take control of all elements of our creative sessions, leaving you to focus on other parts of the event.

Event Prices
Prices will vary depending on the craft, group size and timing

*It is important to say that we are not in a position to offer free or really cheap events — a request we receive quite often. Finch is a CIC, we distribute profits from our corporate events across all our charity and community events but ultimately we are just a small team so there is a limit to what we can do.
Mosaic coasters
Suitable for craft fans
Make a pair of round or square coasters using stunning tiles.
The grouting will need to be done at home after the event, but you will take home an easy-to-follow kit and all the supplies needed.
Macramé
Get immersed in an addictive knotting workshop to make a macramé leaf wall hanging or a plant hanger.
We have a wide selection of coloured rope to choose from, meaning you can match your hanging perfectly to your home.
Candle making
Suitable for all
Great for a corporate get-together, as it is a really creative and relaxing experience-
Customise your candles with aromatic scents and vibrant colours!
We provide jars, but encourage you to bring your own to reduce waste :)
Make 2 candles and 4 tealights
Soap making
An easy & super relaxing workshop where you’ll make 5 soaps. All will be made using a fresh batch of melt and pour soap, so they can be in unique colours & fragrances. And they can also be decorated with an array of dried ingredients!
Paint along
You will learn to paint an original picture using acrylic paints on a canvas with step-by-step instructions. You can choose a painting theme (e.g. pets, tropical sunsets, etc.).
These workshops are fun whether you’re a seasoned artist or you haven’t picked up a paintbrush since school, as no experience is necessary.
Door mat painting
Join us to create the ultimate welcome to your home — a personalised door mat! Have fun working with paint to create your design, a Pinterest board will be sent in advance, so you can start planning your design :)
