Are you searching for a unique Corporate Event idea in Cardiff?
Finch runs corporate parties at your chosen venue for companies that are looking for a good chat and the chance to get crafty! The only downside is that we do not travel with our ‘messier‘ crafts such as soap/candle making and jesmonite.
Prices range from £15 (1hr simple session) to £30 per person (2hr more in depth session with bigger makes)
Minimum group size is 10
*Travel expenses may be added for events outside Cardiff
We have chosen crafts that we feel work well for a mixed group but we are open to offering crafts that you may have seen on our social media recently.
Our most popular workshops for a large corporate group are macrame, lino printing & seasonal crafts.
Benefits of a Finch Party…
There are many great things about having a corporate event with us, one of the main ones is that you will be able to connect with your coworkers and strengthen your cognitive abilities. There are lots of great food and drink options nearby for before or after your craft activity.
We also try and keep the event nice and simple for you, this includes us having a simple booking system, offering a really inviting studio space, decorating the studio with colourful bunting for your special occasion, providing hot drinks and most importantly offering crafts that we know work well with any group.
How to book a Finch party…
Step 1 : Complete the enquiry form below we will reply with our availability within 2 days
Step 2 : If we are available to host your party we will start planning all the details
Step 3 : Once everything is set, we will get all the crafty materials ready for you and will be in touch again just over a week before your event to confirm final numbers, we will then send a final invoice which should be paid 7 days before the event.

Wire words & shapes
An easy and fun craft suitable for everyone!
You’ll be able to create words and beautiful shapes to decorate your office and/or your home with only some rope and wire!
Rope rainbow
This is an easy & super relaxing craft that everyone can do!

We will provide you with a range of fabric options that you can choose from and guide you throughout the whole process to craft some lush battery-powered lanterns.

The workshop includes lots of journal insert options and plenty of accessories to personalise your makes! And the best part is that you can easily replace the notebook and reuse your cover ;)
Macramé water bottle holder
Make a stylish macramé water bottle holder made from knots that can be easily adjusted. This craft is perfect for those who love attending festivals or love a boho style!
And it is the perfect craft to enjoy some quality time with your team!
Memo board making
This is a super easy craft that’s perfect for office workers and people who like to keep everything organised with style ;)
Create your own memo boards to use for organisation, inspiration, or even decorating your space!
Beginners embroidery
Spend a relaxing time learning lots of classic embroidery stitches with Louise from @foleyandthread and create a stitch sampler that’s display-worthy.
Suitable for those new to embroidery or those who have dabbled a little before.
Felt flower wreath
Wreaths are a great way to welcome someone to your space, so we’re offering an easy-to-follow felt flower wreath option!
You’ll be able to cut out and create beautiful felt flowers to place on a ring that you can showcase on your door at home.
Wire dragonfly
Follow Beth from @wiremakercardiff in a fun and relaxing wire craft-making process!
She will teach you how to bend and twist your wire to make a beautiful wire dragonfly that you can use as a home/office decoration.
Polymer clay accessory making*
Suitable for all
Em from @emelyejamescreativestudio will guide you through creating 3 pieces of colourful jewellery.
Make, cure and assemble a couple of pieces during the workshop, which means you can all make pieces to match your outfits!
You will also have time to make a couple of extra pieces that can be taken home and popped in a home oven to cure after the event.
Macramé leaf wall hanging
Suitable for craft fans
Get immersed in an addictive knotting workshop to make a macramé leaf wall hanging.
We have a wide selection of coloured rope to choose from, meaning you can match your hanging perfectly to your home.
Sashiko stitching
This is a traditional Japanese stitching technique using simple running stitches to create functional and decorative patterns.
Decorate your own tote bags throughout the session and take home your finished unique product!
Macramé plant hanger
Best for crafty groups, as this activity requires a bit more instruction!
Plant hangers are a great beginner’s project, and you get to create something useful, plus it’s a nice keepsake from your day!
Wire & bead star
This wire & bead star is the perfect decoration for any space!
We’ll provide you with a range of different sized and coloured beads that you can use to decorate your star.

Festive events
A great option for corporate groups at Christmas is a combination of making two or three small festive items, this works really well as the items are fun to make yet the end results are really nice makes! In addition everyone gets a chance to chat to all their colleagues as they craft and they get to take home two or three hand made items that they are really proud of!
Each item typically takes about 40 minutes to make so we can offer 2 festive crafts in1.5 hours for £20 or 3 crafts in 2 hr sessions for £25.
